Board of Directors
Lim Peng Cheong was appointed on January 2000 and oversees the board's activities to ensure that the organization is operating in line with its mission, values and goals.
Currently, he is also the Non-Executive Director of Scientex Berhad.`
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Studies from City University, London. He is also a Certified Financial Planner.
Lim Chia Wei is the third-generation entrepreneur in her family business, and she drives the group’s strategic expansion, digital transformation, and operational excellence. Her leadership has made the company a market leader in online retail trading with the M+ Online trading platform.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Imperial College London.
In her free time, she enjoys playing golf and singing karaoke with her family and friends.
Fok Chuan Meng oversees the overall dealing activities in areas including retail, proprietary and discretionary trading.
His vast 20 years’ of experience in the capital market industry has enabled him to grow from strength to strength within the organisation. He joined in 2002 and was subsequently appointed to the board of directors. In 2007, he became the Head of Operations.
He is a Chartered member of the Malaysian Institute of Accounts and a Certified Financial Planner.
Senior Management
Tan Kok Tiam oversees the Corporate Finance department which he single-handedly established in August 2020.
With over 25 years of industry experience, he began as a Certified Public Accountant. He is now a certified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
In his free time, he enjoys playing badminton and brisk walking.
Chuck Lim Jian Yen guides business strategies to ensure alignment with organizational objectives while identifying regional opportunities and fostering diverse partnerships.
His journey with the company began in 2019, driven by a lifelong passion for investing. He has since transitioned through IT, operations, dealing, and digital transformation roles.
He holds a Bachelor of Economics and Finance from RMIT.
In his free time, he enjoys playing golf.
Jo Yau leads business growth with a focus on consumer insights, customer experience, product strategy, innovation, marketing, and brand management.
She has over 20 years of experience in marketing, advertising, media and sales, including roles as General Manager at Grey Worldwide and CMO at RinggitPlus.
She holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from Charles Sturt University.
In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones and exploring new places.
Leng Sheng Hong leads Empower Hub, a tech-focused subsidiary of Malacca Securities. Currently, he is responsible for the design and development of software application framework for the group.
He has over 15 years of experience in diverse technical systems, infrastructure, and team leadership.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Games Development from Asia Pacific University College of Technology and Innovation.
He enjoys photography and travelling to new countries.
Cheah Keat Kheong oversees the organization’s talent management, industrial relations, employee engagement and organizational structure.
With over 30 years of industry experience, he aims to foster a culture that maximizes employee potential and productivity in the organization.
He is a Chartered Secretary with the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
In his free time, he enjoys social badminton and is involved in charity work.
