Key Responsibilities

- Policy & Procedure

To identify, evaluate, and assess the risks associated with the firm’s activities and make recommendations to minimize these risks.

Developing and implementing risk management strategies to reduce the company’s exposure to risk and to ensure the risks are being managed effectively.

To develop and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure met/exceed applicable regulation and business needs.

Support business in driving effective and efficient growth initiatives, including new product launch, new channel, new client segment etc.

Assist to promote awareness of Risk Management knowledge among colleagues via various channel of communication (including fact-sharing, e-learning etc.

Assist to be alternate liaison person of Risk Management department within company’s stakeholders

- System

Support company’s direction on implementation of straight-thru credit evaluation strategy and continuing enhancement thru proactive portfolio management, planning test program for new market segment, etc.

Support various business, risk and system projects with close collaboration with other functions such as business/product, credit, compliance, etc; including drafting new policies and UAT scenario planning.

- Other ad-hoc assignments

Other ad-hoc assignments from time-to-time according to market developments and company direction.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above (preferably in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Actuarial Science, IT, Economics).

Experience: 2-8 years experience in risk management scope in financial services (stockbroking, fund management, investment firm, bank, insurance, e-money, ewallet, accounting/audit firm, etc).

Skills :

-

Familiar with Microsoft Office / Google Workplace tools (Excel/Spreadsheet, Words/Docs, Powerpoint/Slides).

Strong analytical and reasoning skills.

Able to work independently with minimal guidance.

Proactive personalities with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
