Key Responsibilities
•
Conducting comprehensive financial analysis and industry trends analysis of listed companies on Malaysia and overseas stocks
•
Conduct technical analysis by reading charts of the subject companies’ share prices
•
Developing and maintaining financial models for valuation and forecasting
•
Extract financial and market data from Bloomberg and analysing them for investment decisions
•
Attending conference calls and company meetings or briefings to gather additional information and insights
•
Creating detailed investment research reports with investment recommendations, including initial coverage reports, quarterly updates and IPO notes
•
Monitoring news, industry developments, and regulatory changes impacting coverage companies
•
Present investment opportunities to dealers/ remisiers
•
Provide commentaries on market movements on a daily basis
Qualifications and Requirements:
•
Experience: Preferably 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis or related industries.
•
Skills :
-
Ability to work under pressure during reporting season, handling Public listed companies’ financial announcements and written reports.

Strong knowledge of local and global equities, as well as derivative and structured products.

Ability to understand financial statements and formulate financial models for the respective companies.

Stay alert and up-to-date with news to provide quick responses to queries from investors and media.

Fluent in English, and the ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Excellent writing skills to explain company status to investors clearly.

Able to code with SQL or Python will be an advantage.
•
Licensure or Certifications: Must have Module 12 and 19A, having CFA is added advantage.
